So the world is a really small place and there is really 6 degrees of separation everywhere.
I was at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) Mega Conference and was with my lovely group of people that I met there!
Anyhow so here we all are in the photo. Get this…some random guy that we asked to take the photo of us was there handing out flyers to promote the new free app (app.cleanteplates.com). You can see his shadow in the photo :).
Ok rewind…About as couple years ago when I was living in NYC and saw the movie Food, Inc. I wanted to support and donate to the cause and I bought a copy of this book called, “Clean Plates,” which is a guide to healthy dining in NYC.
Ok now fast-forward…the guy that wrote the book, “Clean Plates,” was the guy that took this photo! Small world eh?
Well it gets smaller…A few days later, I get a Facebook friend request by this man… Jared Koch.
Even more smaller…hahaha…he knows the Yoga teacher and Thai Massage therapist that I trained and studied with in Guatemala for a month.
Jared is the founder of Clean Plates NYC + LA and is a fellow IIN graduate.
IT’S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!!
I have been so in love with myself and in the process of delving deep in learning so much here on my journey with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition IIN. I feel held by the world and know that the universe is giving me exactly what I need right now in my life.
I am happy to say that I am committed and am dreaming big for myself and for the world around me. I am putting legs on my dreams and strengthening those legs with knowledge and I am applying wisdom to that knowledge everyday. With the perfect blend of determination and a deep willingness and desire to trust and believe in myself, I know I am unstoppable in spirit. Life is good and can only get better. Cheers to that!
The Mega Conference in Long Beach a couple of weekends ago was a life changing opportunity. I was a lot of fun and I was able to connect with so many like minded people! Almost 5,000 people attended the conference and it was action packed with so much enthusiasm and knowledge pouring out of my ears. It took me a bit to digest it all 🙂 but such and inspirational and a gift to be making a shift in my life so that I can live out my dream and passion to help shift the lives of others who are deserving of a life filled with health and happiness.
I was meeting students and graduates from around the world and learning so much on the art of listening and how I can invent my future both personally and professionally. The best thing about it it was completely free for IIN students and grads! Below is a recap list of who was there this year!
I can’t wait until next year’s event. I heard it will be back in the Big Apple. I miss living in NYC but love being back home in sunny CA.
